Dermstore

I was introduced to Dermstore through Glam Bag.  One month we received a coupon for $25 off $50 purchase.  I set it aside and at the last minute, the last day I could use it, I all of a sudden needed a moisturizer so I went on Dermstore.com and started looking up products.  Being super distracted by all the brands and options, it took me a while to narrow down my selections.  Dermstore has a ton of stuff, which is a good thing!

I had been watching some youtube channel about Vitamin A creams being less expensive than prescription strength retinol and occasionally I scroll through the comments and someone mentioned Green Cream.  Dermstore had it.  Green Cream is a high potency retinol according to the package.  At some point, I am due for a dermatologist appointment but for now, I thought I would try a less expensive option.

There are many other Vitamin A creams out there for a lot cheaper then Green Cream but I went with the highest customer reviews.  I started out with Green Cream #6 there is a #9 which seems to be the highest.  With all retinol products/creams, there is a skin adjustment time that you need to factor in to your routine.  Lots of skin peeling, redness, irritation which is found with many of the prescription strength varieties.  I really do not feel the need to go through that...yet...

I use the Green Cream and yes it is a minty green 3 times a week.  The other 4 times I use Indie Lee's Squalane oil.  I have had no issues with irritation, skin peeling, etc.  Have a noticed a difference?  Well yes I have!  But I'm still going to test it out for a full month and do a review after.  I'm also going to review the Squalane oil because I think that it is amazing stuff as well!  My skin has been fantastic lately and I won't be switching up this routine for a while.  Beauty bloggers famous last words right?  :)

My most recent (second) Dermstore order was just this past weekend.  I received an email about a shhh!  "Secret Sale!"  Love those!  There were a few products featured priced at $10, free shipping, oh and ebates offered 7.5% back.  One of the items featured in the sale was Skindinavia Makeup Finishing Spray, which I have been wanting to try forever as soon as my Urban Decay de Slick was used up.  So why not right?

I love to mist my makeup after a finishing powder. It really make a huge difference in the look, feel and longevity of your makeup.  You really need to do this.  Oily, combo, dry...  It doesn't matter your skin type.  I run oily in the summer heat & humidity (but less oily lately, more on that later), combo in the spring and fall and sometimes dry in the winter.  Misting water on your face will probably do the same thing but there are so many options out there right now with so many claimed benefits.

Well my order also came with a "Mystery Gift."  So not only did I get Skindinavia for a great price and free shipping, I also got 2 samples and a full size Dermstore Lip Quench.  It's a great balm, smells of strawberries.  Yum!

The other 2 samples are Dermalogica Age Smart multivitamin power firm and Menscience Androceuticals Microfine Face Scrub.  Though probably geared towards men, I really like a microfine face scrub and I know my husband won't use it.  :)

Speedy free shipping, samples with your order, a hand written note from the CEO on every receipt... Yeah it is an image placed on the receipt but it's still a nice touch!  Dermstore is a new favorite!

So I'm really excited about the Skindinavia Finishing Spray and I hope it works out so I can use for my sister's wedding which is coming up in 15 days!  Wow!  Did the time fly by.  I'm still looking for a foundation that will last through the night without spf!  AHHHH!!!!

Have you ordered from Dermstore?  What do you think?
