Week 11+12 Empties

Just a few things...  

With all the different shampoo and conditioner claims out there, sometimes you just need some moisture.  Well probably more than not.  This Nexxus duo helped my hair out a lot.  Therappe ultimate Moisture Shampoo and Humetress Ultimate Moisture Conditioner.  I do have a back up of these 2 that I will rotate through.  My hair likes to be surprised every other shampoo.  I stocked up when there was a $5 coupon floating around and Walgreens was having a $10 RR with $20 purchase.  

Crabtree and Evelyn La Source Relaxing Bath Tablets.  Ahh...  La Source is my favorite scent from Crabtree and Evelyn, well maybe the Avocado, Olive and Basil line is a close second.  I purchased 2 boxes off these fizzing bath tablets at a Burke Outlet here in town for $6.99 each.  

Avalon Organics Vitamin C Renewal Balancing Tonor.  This is a strange product.  Smells nice, feels a bit tacky on the skin when it dries down.  What makes it so strange is 5-10 minutes after applying it, my entire face turns hot and red like a sunburn.  Not irritating, well I guess this is a major irritation.  It's like a major red hot flush or flash really.  And then it goes away.  I thought that it was my skin getting used to it for the first couple of days of use but it continues for 3-4 months while I used this.  I probably won't repurchase this but I do like the cleanser in this line.  I have one in the waiting actually...

Bath and Body works Aromatherapy energy.  I love the orange scent of this.  It reminds me of my sister -in-law.  She kept a small bottle of it in the guest bathroom and I would always use it.  It took me about 10+ years to purchase my own!  I was lucky to grab this I believe Black Friday weekend for $4 a bottle.  I wish I bought more.  I grabbed other flavors but should have really stocked up at that price.  They are normally $15 for the 8oz tube.  

Suave Advanced Therapy. Good stuff.  Smells nice too.  I don't have severely dry skin nor do I want it so I always lather up!

Just the Basics moisturize shave cream with aloe.  I mentioned this before in another empties post.  I tried to use this again and it still didn't work out.  I did not get immediate razor burn but it was still irritated and I just let my little one play with this bottle like the first one.  3 year olds love to play with shaving cream!

Bare essentials Buxom Lash.  This is a great mascara and it's awesome on the lower lashes.  The wand is huge so you wouldn't think that would be a good option but I can do my lower lashes perfectly with this mascara.  The reason being is that the brush doesn't deposit a ton of product and the formula is a little on the dry side.  I have tried the Clinique bottom lash with the teenie tiny brush but it just deposits a ton of product and clumps up my lashes.  I would love to repurchase this one.

CVS Exfoliating cotton rounds.  I haven't finished them yet, I just emptied this package to put the rounds I a glass jar in the bathroom.  I think the exfoliating side is just a tad too harsh.  I've just been using the regular side.  I had an allergic reaction this week so I've been trying to be as gentle as possible.  I haven't pinpointed the product, it must have been a combination but I do know that the exfoliating side is just a little too rough this week.

Epielle Deep Cleansing Nice Strip x2.  I try to do these twice a week.  Some work better than others.  You need a slightly damp nose.  The moisture has to be perfect I have noticed.  Too wet, it takes forever to dry and thr the glue dries to your nose and rips off the pad as you try to remove it.  Too dry, it doesn't adhere to the gunk.  When you get the conditions perfect, your results are really good!  You can find these at Big Lots, 3 for $2.

Mally Evercolor Poreless Face Defender.  This has some major cracks and discoloration.  It's time to pitch.  I've had it over a year now.  Good stuff and it is mostly used up.  I will repurchase.

Palmers Skin Therapy Oil.  This is in a rose hip scent and it's a very light, fast absorbing oil.  I really like it.  The true test of facial oils for me is if I wake up in the morning and my skin looks normal meaning, not oily/greasy/shiny, not flakey dry.  This facial oil passed the night time test.  I will purchase.

Clarins Day Screen.  I'm on the hunt for a high SPF product.  This one was nice but I'm assuming it's out of my price range!

Indie Lee The Moisturizing Oil in Lavendar.  Indie Lee can do no wrong in my book. All her products are lovely.

Paula's Choice Resist C15 Super Booster.  I accidentally dumped this down the sink so I didn't

T really get to try it to the full extent.  Total Bummer!

I had a few other foil packets that I finished up or some that I had opened a couple of weeks ago, didn't finish and since they were open and exposed, I pitched them.  Like I mentioned earlier about my allergic reaction, I will be switching things up.

I've never had one before but basically my skin was slightly red and bumpy one morning and by that afternoon it had become hot, itchy and spread down to my neck.  Rut ro!

Right now it's Cetaphil cleanser and avocado oil.  Things calmed down quickly (2 days) but I need to add an SPF to the mix and one of the products in question is the only SPF I have right now!  

We will get more into that later!

Week 9+10 Empties!

Yahoo!  Lots of empties the past 2 weeks!

 

 

I will start with the obvious non-emptied foundation bottles to the left.  L'OREAL True Match Lumi in W1-2 is just too light/pink for me.  I'm going to send this to my sister.  L'OREAL True Match in W-3 is too pink as well.  I'm wondering if the W means pink and the C means yellow?  Can someone help me out on that?  If that's the case, no wonder I can't find a match!  I also have tried N1-2 in LUMI and that was too pink as well.  Let me know!  The Shiseido Sun Protection Liquid Foundation in SP30 is too light for me as well.  I'm thinking I need SP50 for the summer.  It has a SPF of 42 which is perfect for me.  This might be too yellow for my sister but I will send it along anyway.

Just the Basics Shave Cream, which I didn't know was a cream but thought it was a gel when I bought it at CVS didn't not work for me.  I let my 3 year old play with it in the bath!  My legs are pretty sensitive and this gave me instant razor burn.  I didn't even finish shaving my leg.

Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap in Lavender.  It's the ultimate multi-tasker.  Will repurchase in both this flavor and all others.  I'm going to start using it as a natural cleanser as well for the house. 

Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask is pretty good and it's at the commissary so I can pick it up with my groceries.  I will repurchase.

Julep Mask Noir was okay.  It's super messy and difficult to wash off your hands after application.  It also stains white face cloths.  Who would have thunk?  I might have another application but I'm going to skip it.  I do like the peel off aspect of it.  My face was soft after using it.  I didn't see any other results though.

Suave Smoothing Body Lotion with Cocoa Butter & Shea.  This has a great, fresh scent.  I would consider picking this one up.

Trader Joe's Coconut Body Butter.  My last one!  I need to get down to Wilmington and replenish the supply!

Amlactin Moisturizing Body Lotion.  This lotion stings, not just after shaving either.  After every time.  Yikes!  Alpha-Hydroxy acids hurt y'all.  But they are good exfoliators.  Maybe this lotion will be better for me in the summer.  Ouch.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye. This lasted forever.  I even thought it was empty and was still able to use it for a few more weeks.  It's finally empty.  I will repurchase the cream version, Advanced Night Repair Eye Synchronized Complex.  I saw pretty good results after using 2 samples of the previous.  When I went to purchase the full size, the sales associate steered me towards the serum.

Organix Hydrating Macademia Oil Shampoo & Conditioner.  I picked these up, well on clearance of course, but because I loved the hair mask.  These were very drying.  I added avocado oil to both of them and they were tolerable.  Avocado oil makes every shampoo and conditioner better.  I won't repurchase.

Epielle Facial Essence Mask Collagen with Vitamin E.  I bought several of these during one of Big Lots 20% off sales.  They are 60 cents a piece.  They are nice and cheap.  Alcohol is the 6th ingredient.  Not super happy about that.

100% pure coconut nourishing body cream.  Initially it smells a little funny, earthy, raw but later in the day it smelled really nice. I liked that I could smell it throughout the day too.  Really nice ingredients too.  I might need to pick this up.

Caldrea Aromotherapeutic Body Lotion in Coconut Fig Leaf.  If I could smell like this for all the days of my life.  I would buy buckets of this stuff.  I saw that Caldrea is on Vitacost but not the lotion.  $22 for 8 fl. oz.  If I win the lottery...

Kiehls' Fig Leaf and Sage is another scent that I love.  I tried the body cleanser it was luxurious. $24 for 8.4 fl.oz.

 
Derma Doctor DD cream was too dark so I couldn't really test it out since I'm in the public eye a lot!

Kiehl's BB Cream is really nice!  It has an SPF 50 and smells of sunscreen but the coverage is nice.  I would pick this one up if I didn't have any other BB creams in rotation.

There are a few other oils and serums but since they were 1-2 use foil packets, I can't really formulate an opinion of them after such short time use.

Oh I was thinking that they Smashbox Photo Finish More Than Primer Blemish Control was actually green like the package, but it isn't.  I was thinking it was a color correcting thing.  Oh well.  But I still would like to have a full size of this around for days when I need a blemish treatment. 

I actually finished a perfume sample!  Victoria's Secret Bombshell.  I will be purchasing a full size.  I liked this one a lot.  One day I will share my perfume sample "collection."

Week 10: Weekly Skincare/Makeup Box

Foundation:  This week, I am using Neutrogena Nourishing Long Wear makeup in Nude from my Bzz Agent kit.  So far I have really liked it.  Nude is a bit pink, but it works.

BBCream:  Pond's Luminous BB+.  This stuff is fab.  I love the natural color and even the smell.  It does have a fragrance.  It also has nice coverage.  I can wear this on its own, slap,it on quickly and run out the door without worrying what it looks like.  It only lasts a couple of hours on me max though when the humidity is in full effect.  Right now it lasts 5-6 hours.

Moisturizer:  I need to start working on some summer color...  It was nearly 80 today!  I've been using Jergans Natural Glow face daily moisturizer for my neck and chest currently so everything is the same color.  My neck tends to be sheer white with yellow undertones and my face a darker pink.  This helps to even everything out.

I also included Equitance which I got as a free Facebook sample.  I have been using this as a light moisturizer.  It is a brightening serum and my skin really seems to like it.  It has a familiar scent.  So technically it's a treatment, but I like it as a light moisturizer.

Sonoma Naturals Rose Hip Seed Oil Serum I included as a back up for extra moisture if I need it this week.  This smells amazing.

SPF: Clarins Day Screen SPF 40.  There isn't much more left in this so I will finish it up this week!

Primer: Rimmel Stay Matte for my face and Benefit Stay Don't Stray for my eyes.  I also included a sample Guerlain l'or Radiance Concentrate.

Eye Cream:  Estée finally kicked it so I picked up Nuance by Salma Hayek Smoothing Anti-aging Eye Cream.  It absorbs very nicely.  I really like it so far.

Treatment:  Another Bzz Agent kit item I just received, Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid with Salicylic Acid.  This could not have come at a better time as I have been dealing with unfaltering congestion issues on my chin area.  I'm really excited to try this out.

Cleanser: The Garnier cleansing oil and Neutrogena Facial Bar seem to be working combination for me for the last couple of weeks so I will continue.

Exfoliator: Garnier Clean+ Balancing Daily Exfoliator doesn't have a ton of grit but works well with a Clarisonic.

Makeup: I haven't used my Revlon Matte in Rose Rapture in a while or my Revlon PhotoReady Bronzer for that matter!  Continuing on with Revlon, I've only used the PhotoReady SkinLights in 100 Bare Light a couple of times.  I expected more of a heavy shimmer, but pleasantly surprised it is pretty subtle.  I also grabbed a Tarte Provocateur pressed mineral powder in light 04 for my powder and Tarte Smooth Operator finishing powder for setting my under eye concealer.  I recently found Wet N Wild Walking the Red Carpet palette at Walgreens.  I had been looking for this and the new Maybelline Color Tattoos before my self-imposed no spend March.  No color tattoos in sight!  :(

Other items I included this week are Rapid Lash and for body moisturizer Suave Advanced Therapy.  This has a nice clean scent.  This was a PINCHMe sample.

Week 8: Weekly Skincare/Makeup Box!

Week 8 is upon us!  Last week of February.  What a month it has been so far.  With the weather and holidays, the kids didn't have a full week of school.  I think they averaged 3 days a week.  It was a quick one, that's for sure.

The weather is warming up and the sun has been shining every day.  It's good to be in the South this time of year.  My mother showed me her front yard which is still covered in snow.  Yuck!  I will do snow in December and January but I always remembered February being the coldest growing up.

Week 8 Box!

Foundation and BB Cream: This week I have to be presentable so trying out foundation combinations really shouldn't be my focus but oh well it's fun!  I picked eclos Hydraprimer SPF 30 which is like a tinted moisturizer, but I will but it in the BB category for this week.  I remember it being a little dark so I will go over it with True Match Lumi in W1-2.  I have had this sample of Clinique kicking around for it bit knowing it will be too dark so it should be a good mix in with LUMI.

Primer: eclos Hydraprimer will be my primer this week!
Moisturizer: I'm further multitasking the eclose Hydraprimer this week but I also added in the Origins Plantscription SPF25 as well in case I need a little more moisture.  I have sample of Palmer's Skin Therapy Oil that I tore out of a magazine to try this week.
SPF: HydraPrimer SPF 30, LUMI SPF 20 and Plantscription SPF 25.
Eye cream: I'm going to keep on keeping on with Estee Lauder.  I also included Ole Henriksen as well to use as well.
Serum and/or treatment: Seventh Generation Clearing with Tea Tree has been working well for me so I will continue on.  I also will continue using Kiehl's Clearly Corrective as well. I have one more packet of the Lancôme DreamTone leftover from Week 7.  Rapid Lash!  I slacked last week.

Cleanser:  Nearing the end of eclos Skin Prep Cleanser so I will use Biore Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser like I did last week.  I just used the Murad Clarifying wipe.  It smells medicinal, it's cooling as well as a slight tingle.  It says no need to rinse.  I didn't wear any eye makeup today so I'm just going to follow the directions and use the rest of the skincare from the box for tonight.  :)  I might have to pick up a few more of these...

Exfoliant:  Amore Pacific Enzyme Peel which I didn't end up using last week.

Mask:  One more use of the 40 carrots left so I included Julep Mask Noir.  I do need to review both separately.  Julep Mask Noir is a peel off mask which is always fun.

Makeup: Urban Decay Naked 3! 

Hair Treatment:  Kerastase Chroma Riche.  I had another sample of this that I used a few months ago.  I remember it smelling nice.  lol

Lips:  Baby Lips Dr. Rescue in Soothing Sorbet.  It has a menthol or eucalyptus taste/feel to it.  Like a Hall's Cough Drop without the sweetness.  Hmm...   It's interesting.  The color is nice but I think I would rather a non-tinted one.  I got this as a gift from L'OREAL Consumer Testing.  My lips have been a little dry so maybe this will help out.

Body Moisturization: Suave Smoothing with Cocoa Butter and Shea.  This is a PinchMe sample and it feels and smells really nice.  Which reminds me, I need to log on and do some reviews!  PinchMe is a free sample service that will send up to 2 products at a time and requires you to review them.  If you want to sign up here is my link!  And good news...  New Samples will be released tomorrow, Tuesday, February 25th at 12pm EST.  The reviews are a quick 5 question survey.  Easy!

July Empties!

I didn't forget. This is how far behind I am.  I meant to get this done before we left for vacation but I ran out of time.  Warning:  I've finished up a ton of stuff in July.  Recyclables are piling up over here!

Again, this is in a random order.

  1.  Act Restoring Anticavity Fluoride:  You need fluoride in your life.  Also now in "modern times" (lol) we are drinking filtered and bottled water and the fluoride that is in our water supply does nothing for our teeth.  Fluoride re-mineralizes "soft spots" on your teeth, that left untreated, will develop into cavities.   So long story short, rinse with fluoride after brushing and flossing every day!  :)  Will repurchase.

  2.  Olay Luscious Embrace Cleansing Bodywash with Jojoba butter & crushed orchid extract.:  I've had several of these from my coupon stockpiling days and by the 3rd or 4th bottle, I am quite sick of it.  It has a pleasant but very strong floral/fruity scent.  I don't think I will repurchase but I never had a problem with Olay bodywashes.  This one is not particularly moisturizing.

  3.  Yves Rocher Botanical Scrub:  I placed a Yves Rocher over the summer and I don't believe I ever blogged about it.  It was a strange sale, it was place any side of order, free gifts, free shipping and a free product of your choice.  So of course I picked a very expensive night cream.  I will review later of course...  But back to the scrub.  The scent was unremarkable, has some nice botanicals; organic agave sap, organic almond kernel powder and sesame oil, apricot kernel powder, saro essential oil and Madagascar mangliferine (have no idea what that is!).  But unfortunately is has larger synthetic scrubber beads and filled with parabens... Yuck.  Will skip this one in the future.

  4.  Organix hydrating macadamia oil intensive moisture mask:  I really need another one of these after my disastrous hair experience last week.  I am working through not one but 2 Aussie 3 minute miracles at the moment.  I didn't pack enough conditioner for our 2 week adventure at my brother's lakehouse and all the sun and swimming was extremely drying. (I grabbed the Aussies at CVS 2 for $6 with a $1 ECB and 2 $1 MC's.  $1.50 a piece.)  So yes, I will repurchase.

  5.  Suave Professionals Men 2-in-1 shampoo conditioner:  This is been in the shower forever.  It would probably take my husband 2 years to finish this bottle on his own.  He bought this when he was away for work earlier this year.  I ran out of shave gel so I used this.  Not a bad alternative, but not ideal either.  I can't guarantee this will be repurchased.

  6.  AVON Advanced Techniques Professional Hair Color:  I should do a separate review on this and I think I will actually.   But it's a nice color, it did turn a little orange on me but that's my hair talking, it likes to pull red.  Nothing my purple shampoo couldn't handle.  It comes with a pre-treatment and an after conditioner.  I like that.

  7.  Johnson's natural head-to-toe foaming baby wash:  I used this for my kids and my makeup brushes.  I don't think I've ever used baby wash for my makeup brushes before.  I really like that this was a foaming cleanser, rinses well and cleans very effectively. Need to repurchase!!!

  8.  Colgate Total Whitening:  Not bad, not memorable either.  Hey it's toothpaste and a necessity.  I'm not that particular.

  9.  Pantene Beautiful Lengths Breakage Defense Shampoo:  Nice shampoo.  Pantene has never let me down.  Yeah it coats your hair, etc, etc...  But if you want fab looking hair, Pantene will not let you down.  If you are scared of build up, have a few different brands in rotation.  That's what I do!  I rarely, umm, let's just get it out there, never just use one bottle of a single brand of shampoo.  It just doesn't happen.  Never happened growing up either.  My mom always had different shampoos in the shower.  See!  Not my fault.  :)  Probably will repurchase in the future.

 10.    Green Cream High Potency Retinol:  I need to do a separate review on this.  And I will.  Already repurchased and it's on auto-ship from dermstore.com.

11.  John Frieda Sheer Blonde  Enhancing Conditioner.  So if you have blonde or highlighted hair, you need John Frieda in your life. This conditioner is lovely.

12.  Target Up&Up Maximum strength acne medication benzoyl peroxide gel:  I've been getting really weird breakouts, just one, every couple weeks or so consistently really, since we've been in NC.  I am assuming it is from the humidity and the sweating and all the pore clogging associated with that kind of weather.  I like Target brand products and used to buy them frequently.  I picked this up for the treatment of that occasional blemish.  However, I don't think this does anything!  I think it's benzoyl, not Target's fault.  I tend to see more results from salicylic acid.  This is very drying though at a 10% strength.  Be warned.

13.  AVON Moisture Therapy:  We've been flying through the lotion over here.  Even though summer is hot in humid in NC, The sun and surf is very drying for this skin.  This worked fine, not really the consistency I prefer.  It's very watery and takes extra time to dry.  I prefer a thicker cream/lotion.  Smells like an AVON product.  If you are in the know, you know what I mean!

14.  Thicker Fuller Hair:  Yes it's still full.  This was one of those random clearance drugstore pickups.  Didn't need it but at an insane price with coupons, I couldn't pass it up.  I shouldn't have however.  This stuff is crap.  I really don't need to thicken my hair anyway.  That was my fault.  It leaves the hair sticky and stiff and you can't even get a brush through it.  Blow drying my hair was an awful experience.  I washed it out immediately.  YUCK!  Stay away!

15.  Garnier Skin Renew Anti-Dark-Circle Roller:  Love this, need to repurchase.  It's not completely empty but I think I've had it close to 2 years so it's time to repurchase.  When I initially purchased this, I had my Northern pale skin going on and it was way too dark for under my eyes.   I used it to conceal around my nose however and it worked out great.  Since living in NC, my skin is much darker and I can wear this under my eyes.  Still a touch noticeable, but with blending, it works out nicely.  I have the non-tinted version currently in use, equally lovely but since the tinted matches now, I will repurchase when finished.

16.  John Frieda luxurious volume full clarity purifying shampoo:  Everyone should have a clarifying shampoo within reach to use, at the very minimum, once a week.  This one is clarifying but not stripping, so I prefer this one.  And it's by John Frieda.  He never let's me down.  I will admit in the beginning of our relationship, back in college, the products were quite drying, but now they are good.  Need to repurchase.

17.  Clearasil Rapid Action Face Wash:  I have an automatic dispenser in my shower.  I rarely use this for my face though.  I use it mostly for my back and feet.  Sounds weird to use it on my feet my the 2% salicylic acid really keeps my feet soft!  The starter kit came with 2 refills and the automatic dispenser.  I really like the dispenser.  Perfect portion size.  I am currently using the other refill.

18.  Bath and Body Works Country Chic:  I got this sometime last year or the year before for free during some promotion in-store.  It has a strong floral/fruity/sweet scent.  Not my favorite, but it smells nice.  I just got a whiff of it and it reminds me of our house in NY...  I probably won't repurchase.  I don't find myself in B&BW very often unless it's the Buy 3, Get 3 sale every 2 years or so.  :)

19.  Schick Intuition Naturals Cartridges:  I love these, I didn't realize how much I loved them until I got a 10-pack of the regular ones.  The regular ones are causing subtle irritation, drying out the skin on my legs, my armpits absolutely hate them.  I didn't realize my mistake and the difference until I compared the packaging.  These are made with 100% natural aloe and Vitamin E.  Got to love marketing  "100% natural" but the original version irritates, the "natural" doesn't. So do I like the naturals version?  Yes.  I need to get some more.

20.  Burt's Bees Citrus Facial Scrub:  I absolutely love this stuff.  The scent, the consistency, how it makes my skin feel, the fact that it is 99.93% natural.  99.93% hmmm....   I will repurchase this again and again.  Though I haven't yet.  It's very difficult to find around here.  I thought Target had it but when I tried to repurchase, it wasn't on the shelf, ditto Walmart and CVS.  I wonder if I ordered this on-line.  I need to do some research.  It does have a glass jar so careful in the shower.  I don't mind it.  I exclusively used it at the sink.

21.  elf brush shampoo.  Works really well, $3. Brushes nice and soft and clean.  But I really like a foaming cleanser like the Johnson's natural foaming baby wash.  I will have to price check though.  I'm assuming elf is cheaper.  But I still like baby wash better and I don't have to pick up 2 separate products.  I like multitasking products.  :)

22.  Mary Kay Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover:  This was given to me by a former MK rep friend.  I remember loving this stuff!  Nothing took off my makeup gentler and thoroughly.  Well what I didn't remember was cloudy, stinging eyes.  I held on to this and tried it out every once in a while thinking that my sensitivity was a fluke, possible allergies though I've never had any...  Well I will take that back, it seems when I move to a new place, VA, NY and now possibly NC, the first couple of months I might have watery eyes, etc...  So I waited the grace period, but still cloudy, stinging eyes.  It might have been expired.  But I won't seek to repurchase.  Currently I am using jojoba oil or olive oil.  Still cloudy annoying eyes.  I guess I used to ignore it.  So currently I am seeking out an eye makeup remover!

23.  Boots Overnight Skin Cream Bergamot:  I grabbed this on clearance at Target of course.  I loved it.  Not for my face but my chest and hands.  It has a lovely scent too.  Pretty strong for those faint of heart (does that even make any sense?)  but very lovely and luxurious feeling.  It was a dip-in glass jar.  I know how people feel about glass and sanitary issues with the dipping.  But I liked it just fine.  I would repurchase if they still sold it at my local Target.  I checked, no dice.

24.  John Frieda Precision Foam Cleanser Conditioner:  This came in the box dye.  I really wish they would bottle this up full size and sell it.  There is definitely a market out there for it.  Please John Frieda, please sell your box dye conditioner full size!!!

25.  elf Golden Bronzer.  I did hit pan on this.  I absolutely love it.  Will repurchase though I haven't yet.  Though not completely used up, I had to pitch it after I used this and it broke out my neck.  Big time.  And yes it was this.  I was bronzing up my neck one day for some reason. I'm hoping it was because it was expired or something.  I don't remember it happening before.  I hadn't used it since last summer and I believe it is about 2.5-3 years old.  Need to look up expiration on products again and go through everything.

26.  bareMinerals Active Renewal Night Serum:  Lovely stuff and a good sample size to actually try it out.  I currently have a full size Indie Lee Squalane oil.  Not a need to repurchase right now.  I did notice that it absorbs more readily than the Squalane oil.

27.  Udderly Smooth Udder Cream:  Last but certainly not least...  I love this stuff!  It goes on sale frequently at 99 cents at Rite Aid.  Pick it up.  You won't regret it.  Takes care of dryness right away and is non-greasy.  Has a nice scent and semi-thick consistency.  Will repurchase at some point.  Probably at Walmart.  I have found myself in drugstores this summer, even though I banned myself.  Oops!  I'm still under 10 times though I've lost official count.  So I think that's pretty darn good!

28.  Dermalogica Clean Start hit the spot:  This one has also benxoyl but at 5%.  Still didn't work that great but I think better than the Up & Up.  Not as drying but it is more of a gel and the Up & Up is a white cream.  I could wear this during the day under makeup, Up & Up was strictly used at night.  This came in a trial sized kit that was on clearance at our Marine Corps Exchange.  I might be interested in picking it up again.

29.  rareMinerals Blemish Therapy:  I've had this for years.  Literally years, like more than 5.  I would pull it out every once in a while when I remembered I had it.  Usually it was lost in the under the sink abyss.  It was time to pitch.

Alright so there it is.  July empties.  Lots of plastic, a little cardboard and glass, all to be recycled.

Now let me get August's empties going...
