I know today is Pink Wednesday but technically I painted my nails Pacific Blue yesterday.
This formula is amazing. One coat! Yes, one coat!
Took 10 minutes. Fastest mani ever! I almost grabbed 2 more today at CVS but I held off. Good stuff though!
So fast forward to today. I want to play with my new Wet n Wild.
Blue Wants to be a Millionaire dries almost matte so it's nice to have a top coat on it. Looks good. Then when you bring it into the sunlight...
Hello Holo! Totally unexpected. I knew it was glittery from looking at the bottle in the store but who knew it was a holo. Love it.
And who doesn't own Party of Five Glitters except for me a couple of hours ago. Fun polish. I don't really feel the need for a top coat on this one. It dries relatively smooth. I like it with the blue too!

Today's shopping run!
I only had a little time because I'm studying for a final so nothing spectacular. Of course i had to go to Rite Aid and grab some BOGO Wet n Wild. I grabbed another How I Met your Magenta since I'm giving another away in the Blog Giveaway! I also grabbed Hannah Pinktana, Party of Five Glitters, and Blue Wants to be a Millionaire.
I've wanted to try Nutty forever and I realy like to use creme eyeshadow pencils as bases. All the Wet n Wild came up to 75 cents. I had $10 +up rewards from last week's sales. So good times.
The Almay and Rembrandt were from a quick trip to CVS. Literally 5 minutes. Well maybe 6 because the Rembrandt's were not on the shelves but an associate was stocking the shelves and grabbed them for me. This was a sweet trip. I had a $1/1 MC for the Almay and the coupon machine printed out $5/2. Almay is also BOGO 1/2 off. It also had my $3/$10 beauty purchase and $5 ECBs from 2 weeks ago. Oh and I had 2 $3/1 Rembrandt MCs and they were on sale for $5.99. I ended up paying $5 and change for everything. Not bad for toothpaste that is normally close to $10 a tube!

Yesterday's shopping
I already mentioned earlier about Rite Aid and Sunshine Sparkle. Not pictured is another Tylenol Precise because they are already in use by the hubby!
But I failed to mention that Easter candy is 75% off and there were a ton of Cadbury Eggs and Reese's PB eggs. Yum! So 22 cents a piece. I dropped by Target and grabbed some Nivea bodywash. I still had a $3/1 MC and they were on sale for $2.47 or something like that. I also grabbed some Clean & Clear Body wash since it was on sale for $3.99 and I had a BOGO MC.
The shelves were cleared at my 2 local Walgreens so I figure this was the next best. I never get to shopping on Sunday mornings. I like my sleep! But I received a sample in the mail on Saturday and it smells really nice. Oh I also grabbed some Nivea Sun-kissed Radiant Skin because Target had a $3/1 coupon and I stacked it with a $1/1 MC. So $3.99. Not bad. This same bottle goes for $9.99 in the drugstores. It smells nice too. Jergens and AVON both have sunless tanning products but they have that "smell." Yuck.
Then off to Walmart. I finally found Maybelline NY Great Lash in clear for my eyebrows! I've been looking all over for this stuff. Finally! I had a $1/1 MC and it was $4. I also grabbed some Renpure Amazing Miracle deep penetrating reconstructor because it had the try me free label. I had read people were having trouble getting their rebates when they bought it in the drugstores because they were getting it for free and then submitting for the rebate. Renpure wasn't honoring those rebates. So hopefully since I bought it at Walmart with no coupons, they will honor my rebate. We will see. I need a deep conditioner. I've been meaning to pick up Pantene Beautiful lengths but I'm waiting for a sale. I have a $3/2 coupon that is burning a hole in my coupon binder.
Oh and last but not least, Hard Candy nail polish in Sky. I saw this color on Chloe's Nails and it looks gorgeous. Well she makes every nail polish look amazing!

Meow Cosmetics Haul
So I got a ton of samples from Meow Cosmetics. I read on Phyrra that Meow Cosmetics had a 15% off sale over Mother's Day. I saw that she had tried out Meow's foundation so I decided to grab a load of samples to see if I could find a match.
I haven't gotten started on the trials yet as I just got everything organized to my liking. I can't deal with sample baggies, I have to put them in jars. So I was at Walmart last night and went to the jewelry making aisle and I found the perfect solution!
These aren't high quality jars and there are no sifters. But since these are sample sizes, I really don't need a sifter to hold back a ton of pigment from spilling all over the place. It is risky though. I tend to be a little messy as I am always in a hurry in the morning and I have kids running around!
I followed a method that I read on Sirvinya a long time ago. So what I did is this... I peeled the label off the baggie sample and trimmed it to fit on the bottom of the jar. I then cut a good size opening in one corner of the bottom of the baggie and dumped the sample into the jar. It was tricky at times getting all the pigment to one side of the baggie so I could cut the other corner. But all in all, this took my 20 minutes. Totally worth it so all my new eyeshadows are easily accessible, visible and labeled.
This bead container cost $7 for the container and the jars. Everything fits snugly, safe and sound.
The eyeshadows on the very right are Fyrinnae. But I'm not sure if they are samples are not. There was a ton of product in those baggies. But I haven't touched them since I bought them. Having them in jars will allow me to reach for them more often.
I'll let you know how the foundation sampling goes! Fingers crossed. I have a feeling Revlon Photoready isn't going to be the best summer time foundation. Melt down city...

Sunshine Sparkle
Okay, I know. I got suckered into this purchase. I've been going back and forth about getting this polish and then I stopped seeing it in the drugstores. So I thought I missed out on it. Then I went to Rite Aid yesterday for some Tylenol Precise back patches that were on sale for $5 and I had $5 MCs. My husband has a hurt back, poor guy. Too much snow this winter! We have a consult with an orthopedic surgeon tomorrow since 2 months of physical therapy haven't done a thing.
So back to Rite Aid, on my way to the analgesic aisle I see a brand new, untouched display on a bottom shelf. I grabbed Sunshine Sparkle immediately. I just couldn't help myself! I also had a $3/$15 coupon from the survey and a $1/1 MC for Revlon nail polish. So I paid 99 cents for the polish, well for everything really because the Tylenol precise were free. Yay!
It's a really pretty color but crappy, crappy formula. I'm still deciding if it is worth the trouble. I tried putting it on last night but you really need smooth nails. So I would suggest a quick buff and a thick base coat. I didn't get out SC Unicorn and layer over it like I planned and it was a total failure. And my cuticles were a mess as well.
So I started fresh this morning. I've already dinged up 2 nails! Ugh! I just can't sit still this morning. This is 3 coats and a base coat as well as a Seche Vite topper. Oh and Nika in the background guarding the house. lol
See I dinged up my ring finger. Yellow polish on my fave Red Sox shirt. UGH!
I really really like the color. Glad I only paid 99 cents for it though!

Dove visiblecare
So Dove visiblecare softening creme body wash is a nice product. I grew up using Dove soap and it has that iconic Dove soap smell which is both familiar and lovely at the same time. Leaves the feeling skin very soft. I also use lotion after my showers but when I failed to use it for an entire week it was incredibly noticeable that I stopped using it. I was trying to get my shower time down because of end of the semester school work, etc.
Then I get down towards the end of the bottle. I can't get the product out of its container! It is a very thick body wash so when it gets towards the end, you can't squeeze it out. I resorted to popping the cap off and adding water. I still can't get everything out. So annoying!
I think I got this for free after coupons so I really cannot complain, but Dove people, if you are listening/reading, please change the packages so your consumers can use your product for efficiently. Waste not want not! By the way, I tried cutting the bottle with scissors with no luck. A knife is pushing it and dangerous. Kitchen shears might work but I don't have any!
On a brighter note... My Meow Cosmetics samples came in the mail today. Can't wait to try everything out! Yay!
